This summary of the Board’s actions is taken from Dr. Keen’s June 14th email:
The Board of Trustees at its meeting on June 12, 2018 took the following actions:
- Approved a Procurement agreement to fund HVAC (Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning) projects
- Approved acceptance of a gift of surplus supplies from Barnes and Noble
- Authorized an increase in minimum wage for students, following the standard set in State legislation, to $12 per hour effective December 31, 2018
- Adopted Policy 2400: Anti-Bullying and Anti-Stalking
- Adopted Policy 7100: Use of College Facilities, as amended
- Confirmed the composition of the Presidential Search Committee
- Approved an Early Retirement Incentive Program for members of the NCCFT
- Expressed gratitude and thanks to Dean Judith Bennett-Murray and honored her with Dean Emeritus status on the occasion of her retirement from the College
