Public and Community Relations:
This subcommittee functions to keep the union membership, students, community members and fellow unions informed on the progress of negotiations and to seek to gain their support for negotiations. The activities of the subcommittee involve writing information bulletins, organizing a speaker’s bureau, conducting teach-ins, contacting other unions, etc. This subcommittee works very closely with the negotiators.
