Relations with the Board of Trustees and Nassau County Legislature:
This subcommittee functions to contact, inform and demonstrate to both groups in ways that directly reflect the consensus of opinion of the union members. The activities of this subcommittee involve organizing faculty to attend meetings of both groups, to write mail to both groups, etc. The goal of these activities is to help the two groups see the union members in a more direct and personal way and less as some amorphous, faceless aggregate.
